I cannot say enough good things about this pharmacy! They really do an outstanding job and go above and beyond for their customers. I have had so many issues with chain pharmacies, and will never use another pharmacy other than AV pharmacy. Not only do they have great prices, but they are super fast and always make sure my medications are available. They know their customers by name, and are always so patient and will take their time to explain things to you. I have never been to a better pharmacy, they truly are exceptional!

They help us save money on our medications, call our doctors for prescription refills, and always have our medications on time. We never wait for our medications more then 20 minutes. Its always in and out. When Iam at the pharmacy, other people I hear are always saying wonderful things about these people. So I don't know why the reviewer above is bad mouthing this place. I don't normally like to write reviews because I don't have time but to see people use yelp and abuse decent business folks is intolerable. This guy's a B.S He says he likes to help out local businesses but yet I see he mostly talks bad about them. Why didn't he try to work it out with them? Get a life dude. Anyways, I hope more satisfied customers will start to send in reviews to attest to this great business. And if you have not tried them out, I highly recommend them. M.J. 9/1/2013 This is a long overdue review, as the AV Pharmacy has been providing my husband and I (and our out of town visitors) excellent service for six years. First, the folks who run this place know what they are doing with your prescriptions. They never rush you on your way without the full explanation of the side effects, etc, like the big box pharmacies do. Second, there is never a line. Since I was there, I asked her many questions about the medications I was taking ( I never get to do that at the chain store I was going to). She spent her time with me going thru my entire list. Ventura, CA 7/10/2011 I have Kaiser insurance and they suck. They sometimes don't cover basic medicine. This place is wonderful, so I'm a cash customer because they have meds i need in stock and if they don't they get it to me quick! They also sometimes give me a discount, which is awesome and the lady pharmacist is super nice, I have been in there just a few times and she has such a good memory to call me by my first name, it makes me feel so comfortable! I had an infection while in town, and needed antibiotics filled. Saw this place on Google, decided to have my prescription filled here and came away impressed. The Pharmacist was very attentive, caring and thorough, making sure I knew how to use my meds even though there were people waiting behind me. She knew I was on other meds, so took the time to point out this new drug’s dosage, contraindications and potential side effects so I was more informed about the drug interaction by the time I had left. No pharmacist has ever taken this much time with me before, so I was very pleased with her thoroughness. Before I left, I saw that the place sold scrubs also. They were priced very low, so I ended up buying 4 different color sets to bring home to Texas. My sister works at a Dr's clinic nearby this location so I will let her and her co-workers know about the low prices they have for other medical supplies here (stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, bandages and wraps). The pharmacist was helpful and very nice. I brought in my prescription next day and she did a fast job of filling it. I was impressed. I normally had to wait 30 minutes plus at Walgreens. I saved about $17 compared to Walgreens. They had great prices. I will use them from now on. Good to see a private business caring about the customers. * update May 15, 2010 * This past winter my family was facing winter flu and infections and we used AV Pharmacy and they were great. We used them alot and have become friends and regular customers. They are fast and very professional. I went with good ol' Walmart, then quickly switched to Albertsons, then to CVS...for some reason the "Commercial" pharmacies in this town are useless...I was left days at a time without my medications due to the lack of care for customers. My husband found A.V. Pharmacy in the phonebook, sent an email due to the late hour and they responded immediately. When I was ready to fill my prescriptions again. At 9:00 tonight, my husband needed an antibiotic filled. All the chain pharmacies close at 9, and one that picked up the phone, when I asked if they could stay 10 minutes late to help me, said no. AV Pharmacy was on-call and came in from home to help me! Once I arrived, the staff and pharmacist gave me the best service I've ever seen at a pharmacy, asking me if my husband is doing ok and if he's sleeping decent at night.
